Take a look at this:

This is a rough estimation of increases in foreclosure rates in bubble states & the increase in bankruptcy filings.

These numbers were used:

State % Increase in Bankruptcy Filings. 1st half 2007 – 1st half 2008. % Increase in Foreclosures from June 2007 to 2008
California 77.7% 77.0%
Nevada 70.4% 84.5%
Arizona 62.4% 126.8%
Florida 63.0% 91.8%

The data was compiled from these sources.

1.The bankruptcy data is here:

http://www.creditslips.org/

Since it is unknown which districts have which population sizes, each district of Florida & California was given equal weight & averaged.

http://www.realtytrac.com/
