It looks like Tennessee still has the title for consumer bankruptcy filings
About 3.4 Americans per 1000 filed for bankruptcy over the 12-month period ending in September. Tennessee saw the highest per-capita filing rate in the country, with 7.3 residents per thousand filing.

The economy is pretty bad here locally in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee though there are signs of improvement. I’m not suprised at the numbers presented though.
