Bankruptcy, Republicans, and Democrats

According to the clerk’s office of the Eastern District of Virginia….recent years have seen a resurgence, with 5,448 Chapter 7 bankruptcies already finalized this year.

This post discusses how bankruptcy reform came to pass in 2005 in D.C. And it mentions that while bankruptcy rates intially fell after BAPCPA’s enactment in 2005….
