While it looks like the # of bankruptcies filed actually were down slightly from October, the number of consumer bankruptcies filed in November was, not surprisingly, more than 39% higher than a year ago….
NEW YORK (Reuters) – U.S. consumer bankruptcy filings rose 39.2 percent in November from a year earlier but were down slightly from October, the American Bankruptcy Institute said on Wednesday.

Not sure if we are nearing the tipping point. Some say the economy is on the brink of turning around whilst others say there is worse to come. Hopefully the bankruptcy numbers are a good sign.
