Personal Bankruptcy Filings In Washington

From The state of Washington:

In the first three months of 2009, more than 7,000 people statewide declared bankruptcy, up 50 percent from a year ago.

  3. Wow… double the bankruptcy filings in a single year. That’s amazing, even for this economy. I wonder what’s driving bankruptcies in Washington in particular (now, Nevada, I can see…).
