Is there a typo in this story?
In 1985, 14,000 people filed for bankruptcy in the Greater Rochester Area. Just 20 years later the numbers jumped up by more to 7,700.
Does anyone know what the real stats are?

Central Washington saw a substantial increase in the # of people filing for bankruptcy between 2007 & 2008:
with cases involving Kittitas County residents nearly doubling, going from 58 in 2007 to 109 in 2008.
It looks like it’s going to be a busy year in bankruptcy court in Central Washington.
